Features
This lush little nook in a Newtown corner terrace was originally intended to be a dispatch centre for founders Trent and Charlie Wu’s online plant store. But soon enough it went gangbusters, so they set up a physical store, too.
The Wus propogate some of the plants themselves, while one of their staff members grows tropical indoor plants. As well as the living stuff, the store also sells concrete pots, cute pot cosies and boob pots planted with miniature succulents.
Visit for hard-to-find greenery including devil’s ivy, string of pearls of watermelon peperomia. There’s also monsteria deliciosa (fruit-salad or Swiss-cheese plants); mini succulents; peace lilies; and a host of other plants in a range of shapes, sizes and colours.
