Features
A firm favourite of the Newtown vintage scene, The Collective Ensemble is a kaleidoscopic boutique for both guys and ladies. Judiciously selected and displayed by owner (and certified cool guy) Somjet Jeamjongwattana, who goes by the nickname Jet, the selection is a cut above the other lucky dippers on King Street's south end. This tight, cosy store gives an overwhelming impression of love for each item hanging from its walls.
For the modern gentleman, all manner of patterned collars and denim abound. Flick through eclectic racks of summer dresses alongside bomber jackets. It's one of those rare vintage shopping experiences in Sydney where you hit more often than you miss.
