At LABLD. Café and Grocer the diverse menu is inspired by travel.

There’s the Birds Nest (poached eggs wrapped in potato spaghetti, avocado puree, fried leek, snow pea tendrils and sil-gochu, a Korean shredded red pepper); sweet pandan pancakes (caramelised banana and honeycomb cream with meringue and cherry); and fragrant house-made momos (Himalayan-style dumplings). The Breakfast Momo is filled with wine-infused bacon, egg, tomato and shallots.

You’ll find daily essentials at the grocer, including ethical meats from Feather and Bone, baked goods from Brickfields, Pepe Saya butter, Rainy Lane cold-pressed juice and a range of Drunken Sailor jams and relishes.

The house uses Mecca coffee alongside regularly rotating guest beans for filter and black coffees. On tap there is kombucha and a nitro brew, a bubbling cold coffee infused with nitrogen.

The space (previously a corner store) has been refreshed with simple and pared-back design elements such as marble tiles.
