Features
Sitting out the front of Noon, on a sunny little corner of Manly, you’re in prime position. The beach is just a few blocks away, and the people-watching is as good as it gets. But if you settle inside this community-minded cafe by Good Good Company (the hospo group behind local faves Chica Bonita , Sunset Sabi and Busta ), you’re met with a polished yet welcoming dining room. Comfy leather couches and a wall of glistening glass bricks give the space a cool ’70s edge.
Wherever you sit, you’re in for beautiful breakfast plates showcasing suppliers from outside the northern beaches. Enter Noon’s brekkie roll, featuring focaccia from Pyrmont’s Pioik , eggs from Peats Ridge, and bacon from Marrickville’s Whole Beast Butchery. Other opening highlights included a picnic-y option of house-cured trout, hemp seed loaf and Turkish tzatzik. And a hunk of house-baked banana bread lashed with espresso and maple butter.
