Ennui is a new two-storey restaurant and bar by former Bentley and Love Tilly group veterans Thomas Bromwich, Samuel Woods and Peter Chan.

Set inside a 178-year-old sandstone building opposite the Capitol Theatre in Haymarket, the venue will have a lively cocktail bar on the ground floor and a sophisticated restaurant upstairs. The food menu will hinge on sustainable Australian ingredients and French cooking techniques, with nods to Woods’ Thai heritage and time spent in Japan. More details to come.

Ennui will open at 461 Pitt Street Haymarket in August 2024.
