Throughout December, some of Melbourne and Sydney’s best bars are creating their own TipJar cocktail, with $2 from every order helping support Australia’s next generation in hospitality.

Since 2020, TipJar has distributed more than $87,000 to ensure there are viable career pathways for young chefs, kitchen hands and other vital restaurant, bar and hotel workers. The program provides vulnerable people with the tools to be job-ready and lift themselves out of a cycle of poverty and homelessness.

Getting involved is easy. Just stick your head in at Foreign Return Kitchen & Bar, Liberty Hall, Unicorn Hotel, The Burdekin, Otis or Meraki Arts Bar between December 1 and December 31, and order up.
