Mexican cuisine is true all-weather food. In summer, there’s nothing better than knocking back a few fish tacos with a Margarita or cerveza in hand. In winter – especially in full-blown lockdown, when comfort is a priority – Mexican food’s winning combo of carbs and sinus-clearing spice is tough to beat. Then there’s the added bonus that many of Mexico’s most famous dishes – tacos, burritos, quesadillas – are inherently a good fit for takeaway (we have our friend the tortilla to thank for that user-friendliness).
Most of Sydney’s Mexican restaurants have gracefully handled the transition to takeaway-and-delivery-only. These are the best.
