Exciting news for Nutella lovers – the Tella Ball Dessert Bar will finally open to the public on Monday February 29.

Aki Daikos, owner of Foodcraft Espresso, whose Tella Balls have gained a huge following in Sydney, is excited to show the public his new venue.

“We have been receiving a crazy response from the public,” says Daikos. “For us, it's about everyone having the full experience. There aren’t a lot of places out there to get great takeaway pancakes.”

The venue itself will have a “fresh and clean look”, and the interiors will be mostly white.

Dishes will include a Nutella five-stack pancake tower with Canadian maple syrup and strawberries; Nutella pizza; Wagon Wheel gelato; homemade crepes; and waffles. Also try homemade gelato and Nutella soft serve.

There will be a cabinet filled with Nutella-flavoured desserts, such as cheesecakes, tiramisu, macaroons, cupcakes and brownies. Of course, there will also be plenty of the famous Tella Balls. Hungry yet?

A secret menu item includes gelato and doughnuts, which makes it sound like a winner.

Daikos plans to expand the dessert bar statewide and nationally if all goes to plan.

Tella Ball Dessert Bar will open at Shop 5, 372 New Canterbury Road, Dulwich Hill, from 11am to 11pm daily on February 29.
