There is only two weeks until the four-day food extravaganza Taste of Sydney begins. The initial list of who would be involved was already impressive. Now, here is the full list of who will be in attendance.
Mark Best’s Pei Modern; pop-up turned permanent venue Cafe Paci with Pasi Petanen; Young Bloods – the collaboration between Newtown’s Bloodwood and craft-beer guys Young Henrys; Whale Beach’s Jonah’s, Turkish joint Efendy; new Bangladeshi street-food venue BANG Street Food; The Cut; Saké; and Ananas.
The previous announcement included MoVida Sydney; Brent Savage and Nick Hildebrandt’s trio – Bentley Monopole and Yellow; regional favourite from Bowral, Biota Dining with chef James Viles; Colin Fassnidge’s duo of Four in Hand and 4Fourteen (with Carla Jones); Otto Ristorante; Popolo; and Elvis Abrahanowicz and Ben Milgate’s Porteño.
The full line-up gives us a total of 18 big names who will bring their culinary flair to Centennial Parklands and celebrate Sydney’s food culture, serving more than 50 dishes between them. It’s the most comprehensive way to taste the best our city has to offer. And that’s before you even start to consider the classes, talks and entertainment on offer.
Taste of Sydney 2015 will run from Thursday March 12 to Sunday March 15 in Centennial Park, Sydney. Tickets range from $25 advance booking general entry, to $134 for Gala Night Platinum Passes, with various inclusions.
