Last month the popular Paddington pizzeria Love Supreme was hit by water damage from a storm. After closing its doors on April 1 for repairs, the pizzeria is back in action complete with a facelift.
“We had the opportunity to improve as well as repair,” says restaurant manager Mark Purcell, adding that they had to replace floors and ceilings. Changes include a new bar area at the front of the restaurant, rotating craft beers on tap and a wine list by sommelier John Clancy (ex-Guillaume at Bennelong). A new wood-fired oven has been imported from Italy which will cook pizzas in three minutes., The kitchen has added calzones along with a new kamut pizza base to the menu.
It has even had a new shipment of boutique Italian wines arrive, with 90 per cent of the offering only available through Love Supreme (and still available for home delivery). We’re sure glad they’re back in action.
