When the first artist renders of the soon-to-reopen InterContinental Sydney in Double Bay (formerly the Ritz Carlton) emerged, it was easy to daydream of lying beside the infinity pool and sipping on something refreshing.

InterContinental has announced the addition of another restaurant to further colour our daydream. Joining Saké, the restaurant will be a collaboration between The Group – a hospitality group headed by Adam Abrams and Julian Tobias, operators of floating club The Island – and Eddie Levy and Michael Hwang, the guys behind sultry, rum-loving CBD bar The Lobo Plantation.

There are few details released about the new restaurant but we can guess there will be a strong cocktail list.

The luxury hotel also contains a Grand Ballroom, exclusive lounge and courtyard, wellness centre and 24-hour gym.

InterContinental Sydney Double Bay is opening in November and taking bookings from November 15.
