In very happy summer-eating news, from November 20 Bronte’s famous Cafe Eugene’s cafe will open its doors for dinner in addition to its normal breakfast and lunch opening hours, from Thursday to Saturday.
The decision to open on evenings was a natural one for chef and owner, Eugene Giesinger: “For months my customers have been continually asking me to consider opening for dinner,”, he says. The dinner menu will change weekly, with dishes such as an avocado smash chicken burger and sugar-seared tuna with soba noodles, kale, soybeans and nori, accompanied by Australian wines and craft beers. Special cheeses and a large range of desserts will be offered, too. Children won’t be left out, as a special menu is also planned for them.
For dinner as for lunch, the idea remains the same: healthy food for a reasonable price. For those who just want to eat Eugene’s at home, freshly made take-home meals such as yellow Thai barramundi curry and pork and veal meatballs will also be available.
Dinner service will start on November 20, from Thursday to Saturdays.
