The Cook’s Grocer in Rozelle is a food shop with a difference. Taking the hassle out of planning a dish and sourcing ingredients, it designs your meal, gathers and measures the components, and delivers straight to your kitchen.

Elizabeth Master and Tim Ryder recently opened the store opposite the Rozelle markets, stocking locally available produce from markets in Sydney, with meat sourced from NSW farmers at Origin Meats, seafood from Di Costi, and other goodies from Salt Meats Cheese in Alexandria.

Master and Ryder create seasonal dishes and enjoyable cooking experiences for a simple and fresh way to cook. “We started The Cook's Grocer to make it easier for people to cook great food at home without the hassle of shopping, meal planning and having to stress over the ingredients and flavours,” says Ryder.

This month’s menu includes angel-hair pasta with crab, chili, lime and rocket; pancetta, zucchini and pea rigatoni; and angus sirloin steak with chat potatoes and a green-bean salad. “Our passion is cooking and getting people excited about their ingredients,” says Ryder. “Our focus is on quality ingredients and a convenient product that gives people a fun and inspiring experience. Because we portion everything, people pay only for what they need.”

With meal sizes appropriate for a couple or for up to a family of four, and delivering across Sydney three times per week via its website, you can rest easy, and eat well.
