The final week of our annual Table for Six competition is upon us and as it so happens, we’re ending with a bang. This week, we’re offering you and five friends the chance to win an all expenses paid dinner at The Apollo.
From Jonathan Barthelmess (Manly Pavilion) and Sam Christie (Longrain Sydney and Melbourne), this Potts Point restaurant combines the best of traditional Greek hospitality with wholesome, creative cooking.
Here, you’ll be served Greek-inspired share plates, which include a mullet roe taramasalata mopped up with warm pita, saganaki cheese and honey, fried okra, a slow cooked lamb loin served straight from the wood-fired oven and walnut filo pastry with coffee cream. It all comes together to make The Apollo a perfect place for communal indulgence.
But that’s not the end of the dining experience. Not only will you be spoilt with the banquet menu – you’ll also receive a wine match for each course, as personally chosen by Jonathan Barthelmess.
