Sydney’s venues and musicians are offering their skills for one-off events in a generous effort to raise money for the devastated Nepal region. Enjoy a night out that will help people in Nepal.

Freda’s presents Building Blocks
Building Blocks features names from Future Classic, Pelvis, Marcus Whale from Collarbones and other local DJs on the decks. A Nepalese-inspired feast, courtesy of chefs Chauncey Mauva Sjostedt and Manu Black, will be on the table. There will also be a live auction of works by artists and designers. All auction proceeds will be donated, as will a $10 entry donation, 10 per cent of bar takings and all staff tips.

Beats Benefit presents THE FUNKRAISER
Staying true to its mantra: where house music meets charity, Beats Benefit has pulled together a killer line-up including Inkswel, Edseven, Hedon, Pilot Co DJs and more for a rooftop party in the CBD. One hundred per cent of profits will be donated to support the CARE Australia Nepal Earthquake campaign.

Strange Fruit at The Bridge Hotel
During a 16-hour fiesta Strange Fruit will host 15 of Sydney’s biggest local DJs. The event will be spread across three rooms at The Bridge Hotel, with Nepalese street food from Momo on offer. Heading the line-up is Simon Caldwell, Ben Korbel, Jimi Polar, Raffi Lovechild, Kali and many more. With a $10 minimum donation door entry, all proceeds will go directly to NRN.

Nepal Fundraiser Screening at Golden Age Cinema and Bar
Golden Age Cinema and Bar will host a special screening of Steven Spielberg’s 1981 masterpiece Raiders of The Lost Ark. All profits from ticket and popcorn sales for this screening will go to the Australian Red Cross emergency response programs supporting people and communities in Nepal.

Ripples Chowder Bay hosts Banquet Dinner Fundraiser

The international team, made up of several Nepalese-born staff, will donate their time to create a banquet of traditional Nepalese Food. Tickets include a set banquet-style menu with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. All proceeds will go to the Red Cross Nepal Region Earthquake Appeal.
