Pizza restaurant Maybe Frank (Surry Hills, Randwick) is setting up shop, temporarily, at Bondi’s Beach Road Hotel.

From Thursday November 15 and through summer, you’ll find it on level one of the busy Bondi pub (the space has previously hosted pop-ups by BL Burgers and TruckStop). There’ll be a mini-me version of Maybe Frank’s usual menu with seven mini-sized pizzas, each designed to be eaten by one person.

The margherita is there (mozzarella, tomato sauce and basil), as is Maybe Frank favourite the Alba (with mozzarella, tomato sauce, Italian sausage, truffle pecorino and rosemary), and a promising sounding Nutella option.

It’ll also be serving two summer-friendly cocktails – a Negroni and an Aperol Spritz.

Maybe Frank co-owner Vince Lombardo says a pop-up at the pub is a “no-brainer”. “The combination of indoor and outdoor seating is great, there’s a lot of natural light, we have a standalone kitchen to use and it’s one of Bondi’s best-loved pubs,” he said in a statement.

The Maybe Frank pop-up is at the Beach Road Hotel until the end of February, 2019.
