Lunch delivery services are a welcome weekday bonus for those without time or inclination to pack their own each morning. Here are a handful of companies taking the hassle out of your lunch hour by delivering good food.
Lunch Lady Lou
Lady Lou is a holistic health coach whose days working a high-pressured job in the city inspired her to set up this lunchbox delivery service. Delivering to the CBD, Lady Lou’s weekly lunch menu strikes a balance between delicious and nutritious. It offers almond-crusted schnitzel and zucchini and corn fritters. Extras include a snack-pack of Greek yoghurt and raw chocolate topped with almonds and cacao nibs to get you past the mid-afternoon slump.
Delivery is free to the Sydney CBD and North Sydney. That’s anywhere between Central, The Rocks, King Street Wharf, Hyde Park and the North Sydney area. Order online by midday for next-day delivery.
