After three and a half years of serving sustainable, home-style lunches to Rosebery Kitchen by Mike is closing its doors today, Friday August 7. Chef Mike McEnearney is heading to Carriageworks to be creative director of the re-branded farmers' market there on Saturdays (formerly known as at Eveleigh Markets). His aim is to promote NSW produce and put the market on the world stage.

According to Koskela, with whom KBM shares a space, a new eatery will be opening in the space in the coming weeks. Renovations will take place over the next two weeks, with KBM continuing to serve take-away coffees until the new eatery is up and running.

Kitchen by Mike will close on Friday August 7, 2015.
