If you’ve got that never ending list of restaurants that you simply must try but just can’t seem to get around to, Taste of Sydney is set to bring it all to you. Running over four days, the event brings together many of Sydney’s best known and loved dining establishments to showcase signature dishes and samples of their work. Chefs plating up at the event include Matthew Kemp from The Montpellier Public House, Eugenio Maiale from A Tavola, Martin Boetz from Longrain and Colin Fassnidge from Four in Hand, among several others.
Last year, Taste of Sydney wined and dined over 25,000 Sydneysiders and they plan to do it all over again with food stalls and events running across four days (March 8–11).
The De Dietrich Cooking School and Australian Gourmet Traveller Taste Kitchen will feature special guests including Vincent Gadan and Adriano Zumbo whipping up culinary creations before your eyes.
Sensology, meanwhile, brings us The Art of Cocktail Making, 15-minute hands-on sessions with expert cocktail makers. From the cosmo to the mojito, it will have you mixing cocktails at home in no time.
Wine and beer tastings bring some of the country’s best sommeliers and brewers together to share knowledge on their best drops.
In addition, the Taste Producer’s Market allows festival-goers to sip, taste and buy their way around more than 100 boutique food and wine stalls, with suppliers showcasing their finest produce. Pick up some supplies for a picnic and head to the Lilydale Picnic Garden to enjoy love music as you tuck into your delicious purchases.
