Recently Broadsheet teamed up with Monty Koludrovic, executive chef of Icebergs Dining Room, to host The Family Table – a five-course dinner inspired by the chef’s own family gatherings.
The feast was held at Bondi’s world-famous institution Icebergs Dining Room, and featured dishes which threw back to Kolundrovic’s youth, each paired with a matching Brown Brothers Patricia wine.
Guests were treated to Iggy’s sourdough with Iceberg’s blend of Alto olive oil, crudo tuna, radish, lemon and nasturtium; fresh cavatelli with broccoli, olive and ginger; and grilled bistecca alla diane with smoke potato and horseradish. The feast finished with a strawberry, vanilla and sheep’s-milk cheesecake.
Each dish was paired with one of the five wines from the Brown Brothers Patricia collection, named after the Brown family’s matriarch, Patricia Brown.
