• A gelato and wine bonanza is hitting Marani Deli on Sunday April 12. Hit the Newtown spot from 2pm for scoops by Corner 75’s head chef Carley Scheidegger, while Vivant Selections’ Jaymie Wallace pours wine. Plus, there’ll be savoury snacks too.
• Nine inner west breweries are pouring exciting new beers, brewed exclusively on the day after harvest, during this year’s Hop Harvest Fest. Get around the exclusives from April 17 to 24.
• Freda’s returns in the form of a month-long residency in the Ace Hotel lobby. Hit the free parties every Friday in April.
• The Maybe Cocktail Festival is taking over our best bars again, with a week-long party from April 14 to 19. Expect top bartenders from across the globe, from bars like Handshake Speakeasy in Mexico City, Bar Madonna in Brooklyn and Smoke & Bitters in Sri Lanka.
