Dine Out To Cash In: Save on Your Next Meal at Dear Sainte Eloise, Morena and More Sydney Hotspots

The countdown to Christmas is on, bringing a flurry of catch-ups with friends and family. To keep the good vibes going, NAB is offering credit card holders $100 off dinner at some of Sydney’s best restaurants.
Gather your crew, spend $500 or more and pay with your NAB credit card at hotspots like Dear Sainte Eloise, Morena, Letra House and Callao to get $100 off the bill. The offer runs through to December 16, giving you plenty of time to coordinate your calendars. Here’s what’s on the menus – and what we’re ordering.
Dear Sainte Eloise
A fixture in Sydney’s wine bar scene, Dear Saint Eloise is the perfect spot for al fresco dining – a new arrangement means that the restaurant can now use neighbour Pina’s seating for extra outdoor ambience on Orwell Street. The $75 set menu covers the classics, including the iconic Angelachu anchovy on brioche with dill pickles. The wine list spans from local lo-fi drops to big European flavours that pair well with salty snacks. Book your table here.
Morena
Housed in the 150-year-old GPO building on Martin Place, Morena joined Sydney’s dining scene earlier this year. Led by Peruvian-born chef-restaurateur Alejandro Saravia, the menu skips across South American cuisines: the swordfish cutlet with yerba maté sauce is a nod to Argentina, while the fried eggplant arepas are inspired by Venezuelan cooking. Don’t miss the kitchen’s charred ox tongue anticuchos (skewers) for the perfect starter snack. The restaurant also boasts the largest collection of Latin American wines in Australia, with over 200 bottles spanning classic and minimal-intervention styles. Book your table here.
Callao
Barangaroo’s vibrant diner Callao celebrates Nikkei cuisine – the fusion of Peruvian and Japanese flavours. The generous menu is divided into snacks, crudo, anticucho skewers, mains kissed by the wood fire, steaks, veggie sides and dessert. Don’t skip the salmon ceviche served with aji amarillo leche de tigre (where aji amarillo peppers spice up the limey “milk of the tiger” sauce) or the scampi tartare, which is topped with an umami mix of truffle mayo, avocado puree and pickled jalapeno. Cocktails take on a Japanese Peruvian bent too, with pisco, Japanese whisky, yuzu and tropical fruits. Book your table here.
Letra House
Set below Italian diner Palazzo Salato, Letra House is a CBD secret weapon. The menu pays homage to now-closed Bar La Salut, offering tapas and tinned goods late into the night. The Letra Martini is an umami hit: Four Pillars Olive Leaf gin meets a koji tomato distillate and dry Madeira – a creative spin on the classic vermouth. The tight wine list is served by the glass, carafe or bottle. Book your table here.
