Coming Soon: Three Blue Ducks To Open a New Outpost at a Luxury Mountain-View Lodge in NSW

The team behind Three Blue Ducks has flown north once again – this time, settling at luxurious accommodation and events venue The Lodge Bellingen, midway between Sydney and Brisbane.
The busy restaurateurs will bring their breezy brand of simple, sustainably sourced food to the 6.4-hectare mountain-view hotel, which is close to the region’s rainforests and beaches.
Chefs and owners Darren Robertson and Andy Allen are working with local producers and farmers to source ingredients for their breakfast, lunch, dinner and function menus.
“The area and its surroundings are a melting pot of different flavours, ideas and innovative ways of presenting food, which makes Bello a must-visit location for food-lovers,” Robertson said in a press statement.
The drinks list will favour local NSW wines and beers, as well as coffee from long-time partner Single O.
Three Blue Ducks Bellingen will be the group’s seventh outpost, following the now-closed original in Bronte , and venues in Rosebery , Byron Bay, Brisbane, Melbourne and Nimbo, NSW.
If the new menu is anything like its regional NSW counterparts, expect plates of celebrated produce from the garden, land and sea, plus hearty roast dinners, grazing options and classics for the “ducklings”.
The restaurant will also be able to cater for weddings and private events at The Lodge.
Three Blue Ducks Bellingen, located at 1381 Waterfall Way in Bellingen, will open in 2023. Confirmed date still to come.
