The guys from Penrith institution Burger Head are opening a pop-up in Beaumont Hills next week.

Burger Head is by former fine-dining chefs Josh DeLuca (Quay), Richard Borg (Momofuku Seiobo) and Timothy Rosenstrauss (Master) and will be serving its classic line-up for three months only.

“We're looking at middle of next week to open up. [There’s] just a few tiny things to wait on before we can lock it in,” says Rosenstrauss.

Weekly specials will be rotated, but the classics, such as the buttermilk fried chicken burger (served with pickled onions and mayo), will stay. The “Mike Tyson”, which is a vegetarian option, comes with smoked mushroom, crispy kale and coleslaw.

To kick things off, Burger Head will serve its recent collaboration with Twisties. The house-made beef patty is served with bacon jam, American cheese and pickles. Both the mayo and the milk bun are infused with the cheesy chips, which are also stuffed inside the burger.

Keep your ear to the ground.
