If you’ve got a Sydney metro postcode, you could be enjoying a dozen oysters and a bottle of something sparkling – in a hot mignonette.

Bondi Oysters founder Thomas Rolfe is shaking up Sydney’s shellfish game. Offering three-hour delivery to suburbs in the city’s metro radius, Rolfe and the team are supplying Sydney rock oysters farmed in Narooma on the South Coast straight to your door.

But it’s not all about molluscs. Prawns sourced from northern New South Wales and Queensland, Black Pearl caviar and various accoutrements are available to add to your order. Plus a selection of beer, wine and champagne , which arrives chilled and ready to pop.

Delivery can be arranged for specific dates, while same-day shipping is available for orders made before 6pm – although it is first in, best dressed as there are limited spots each day.

Shellfish enthusiasts can set up a subscription for weekly, fortnightly or monthly delivery. Or, for a present with pizzazz, you can send your friends and family a gift pack to celebrate the special moments – from birthdays and anniversaries to bougie Friday night knock-offs.

Currently, delivery is only available to Sydney residents, but the team has plans to expand this radius in the future. Shipping is free for orders over $149.

You can also find the Bondi Oysters team at Carriageworks Farmers Markets on a Saturday morning.
