Crown Street Fish Shop, proud purveyor of all things pescetarian, is providing Surry Hills with the Blessed Barra Burger for one day only. Early Friday morning, Reverend William Misted (aka Father Bill) will actually be blessing all buns baked by Crown Street Fish Shop. After morning mass he’ll return with some of his congregation to take part in this biblical burger.

Between brioche bun (with a hot cross bun-style cross on top), beside a fresh salad, will lie a fillet of Western Australian Cone Bay barramundi. The whole thing is ceremoniously drizzled with lemon aioli.

If you aren’t keen for morning mass on Easter Sunday, just consider this your annual communion. It’s certainly quicker and greasier; we forgive you in advance.

Crown Street Fish Shop is open all Easter long weekend, 12pm–late. The Blessed Barra Burger is available on Good Friday from 12pm.
