• Broadsheet’s second Dine Out festival kicks off next week, from July 27 to August 2. • Speaking of Dine Out, Manly Fish & Chips is putting on an Adult Happy Meal all week, consisting of a Moreton Bay bug roll, fries, salted chilli mayo and your choice of beer or RTD for $20. But that’s just the beginning of its bargain winter campaign. It’s also put on three specials beyond Dine Out: $9 cheeseburgers on Tuesdays, $9 fish & chips on Wednesdays and 2-for-1 burgers on Thursdays. From 11am.

 • After opening its third store in Eveleigh last year, fast-casual eatery Sana Mediterranean continues to expand. It’s launching its fourth from 11am–8pm on Saturday August 1 at 623 Darling Street, Rozelle. Pop by for wholesome $10 bowls, old school hip-hop tunes curated by Beat Kitchen Records and a limited number of free cookies created in collaboration with Lode. The first 200 customers will nab a tahini, date molasses and white chocolate cookie.

• Now that we’ve heard the words, why didn’t anyone think of this earlier? Birria bagel. It makes perfect sense. Brooklyn Boy’s Marrickville and Surry Hills stores are selling the birria taco-inspired creation ($25) for a limited time. It’s loaded with slow-cooked beef, guajillo and ancho chillies, onion and coriander. And beef consommé for dipping? You bet. Hot tip: you can choose any bagel for the base, but the jalapeno and cheese is a killer match.
