The pulse of Potts Point speeds up on a Saturday morning. Locals emerge from apartments like moths from cocoons, dressed in their Saturday best, racing to the market to join the line for dumplings and fresh flowers. The energy at Fratelli Paradiso spills onto the sidewalk as staff members with plates of scrambled eggs and prosciutto dodge pedestrians, then farewell diners with a kiss. Children play around the fountain laughing while parents duck into the deli for olive oil and cheese.
Street Style Australia’s Myles Kalus wandered around to capture Potts Point on a Saturday morning. He’s shot for Luisaviaroma and Net-A-Porter, and covered street style for fashion week in Paris, London and New York.
Kalus found bright prints, headscarves with floppy hats, straw baskets and leather bucket bags. Crisp-white Spring Court sneakers, sculptural spectacles and mirrored sunglasses were also part of the uniform.
