Nobody knows good things come in threes. The denim label has fused its most pared back designs with three eye-catching colours to create TONAL, a capsule range for their spring 2012 collection. To articulate the essence of TONAL, they have unleashed their creative energy on the screen with an earthy short film starring model Rachel Rutt.
A collaboration with Australian photographers and filmmakers Kasia Werstak and Alice Wesley-Smith (of the AEON), the film sees the effortlessly cool Rutt doing her thing in the wild to a glitchy soundtrack by Nick Luke. Rutt takes double denim up a notch with skinny jeans, a cut-off shirt and simple utility vest blocked in the colour-trio of Green Envy, Blue America and Grey Phantom.
TONAL aims to take denim back to its roots, focussing on style, wash, fit and finish to present an easy, versatile range of separates to be mixed, matched and layered. It’s no surprise that this concept comes from Nobody, a label that has valued quality and ethical local manufacturing for over a decade.
To celebrate the release of this short film, we are giving away a pair of Cult Skinny jeans in the Grey Phantom colour worth $189. Email Sydney@broadsheet.com.au with the subject ‘Nobody Triple Denim’, your size and contact details to enter.
The competition is now closed.
