H&M continues to cement its nationwide presence with the announcement of two new stores in Sydney in August. The first will be in Westfield Bondi Junction, and the second in the Broadway shopping centre. The clothing retailer already has four stores in Sydney: Pitt Street Mall, Chatswood, North Ryde and Macquarie Centre. There are five other stores in other states in Australia, so it seems there's a clear focus on NSW.

The giant Swedish retailer also owns COS, which recently opened a second Sydney store in Bondi Junction. H&M head of design Ann-Sofie Johannson described the brand to Broadsheet as, “something a little bit bohemian, a little bit rock'n'roll-ish, not too fancy.”

There are no details yet on the size and scope of the store, or whether one of the new stores will be a flagship.
