A new “green” beauty event will launch at the Terrace on the Domain next week, bringing together 40 organic and natural beauty, health and wellness brands. The event has been created by Cathy Tolpigin, a make-up artist who uses only clean and ethical beauty products.

Guests will get to enjoy mini-facials with organic skincare products by Gaia Retreat and express manicures by vegan beauty brand Julisa. Organic make-up touch-ups and hair styling will be available, and guests can get personalised skin care, make-up and hair consultations. A bunch of beauty brands will exhibit on the day, including Olivia Newton John’s Retreatment Botanics; French haircare brand Vegetalement Province; and hemp-based skincare line Cannabella.

Panel discussions and skincare masterclasses led by industry experts will also be held, and the grounds of the Domain will be put to good use with vedic meditation, yoga and kinesiology sessions. Edible Beauty collagen mocktails and vegan canapes will be served – as will organic wine for a bit of balance.

“The Green Edit is about creating a conscious community,” says Tolpigin in a statement. “It’s an opportunity to educate and inspire people to make the switch to green beauty through beautiful experiences.”

Green Edit is on Thursday March 12. Sessions run between 3pm and 6pm, and 6pm and 9pm. Tickets cost $60 and include a goodie bag.
