Luxury French fashion house Céline has just announced it’s opening a second Australian store, in Sydney’s Westfield Shopping Centre.
Melbourne’s Chadstone was the first to receive a flagship, which opened last year.
Founded in 1945 by Céline Vipiana and owned by the LVMH group, today it is under the creative direction of Phoebe Philo. The label specialises in timeless accessories that focus on clean design and clothing with beautiful tailoring. It’s about a perfectly cut pair of trousers with a beautiful shirt and tuxedo-style blazer, paired with the label’s break-through trapeze bag.
With 140 stores around the world, the design of each and every one has acute attention to detail with marble and brass fittings and sculptural furniture.
The CBD store will open with the winter 2017 collection as well as a range of ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes and accessories.
Céline is slated to open at Westfield Sydney, off Pitt Street, in October this year.
