Since its modest beginning in 2012, Bailey Nelson has established itself as a firm favourite for those in the market for quality frames. The eyewear company has turned heads (so to speak) with distinct spectacles and sunglasses that demonstrate an obvious attention to craft.
Bailey Nelson will bring its signature fashion-forward frames to the Connoisseur Discover Festival on Saturday October 27, and has its own, one-day-only stall – an ideal place to find your new summer shades.
Among the homewares, design items, artworks, music and food offerings at the Cell Block Theatre, the Bailey Nelson crew will present its newest range for you to stick on your face (and give prizes to select guests).
Founded seven years ago by Peter Winkle and Nick Perry – who began by selling sunglasses at a market in Bondi – Bailey Nelson now comprises more than 30 stores around the world. And, it’ll be reprising its role as a limited-time market stall at this weekend’s festival.
“We’ll be offering a range of our new sunglasses and accessories on Saturday with a booth set-up and some fun Bailey Nelson giveaways for customers,” says Taylor Ryan, from the label’s digital, marketing and culture division.
The team will also be showcasing its latest titanium range alongside its all-new cookies-and-cream design. And, they’ll be giving out Bailey Nelson tote bags with each purchase.
“We’re very excited to be a part of this event and work with the Connoisseur guys to offer some special prizes to be won on the day,” says Ryan. “It’s also a great opportunity for us to show off our range to people who may not have come across Bailey Nelson before.”
Bailey Nelson will be giving away five gift vouchers valued at $180 at the Connoisseur Discovery Festival by Broadsheet. Collect a raffle ticket at the door for your chance to win. One lucky winner will be announced each hour between 12–4pm.
