Cosmetics giant Mecca will open its biggest ever Australian store at Westfield Parramatta this Friday June 7. Like its recently opened Broadway store, Mecca Paramatta will combine the broad appeal of Mecca Maxima with the upmarket approach of Mecca Cosmetica as part of a concept known simply as “Mecca”.
The 500-square-metre store will kick off festivities at 7am, when the first 200 customers in line will receive a wristband that entitles them to a free Stila Afterhours eyeshadow palette with any purchase. Plus, anyone who spends $85 on opening day will be able to choose a gift from a Mecca carousel, which will be filled with prizes worth more than $100,000, including 200 Too Faced Sweet Peach palettes.
Mecca Paramatta will stock the retailer’s entire line of more than 100 brands and will have the company’s first ever “Skin Space”. Here customers will be offered skincare consultations and services, including complimentary skin reviews. The reviews will run for 30 minutes and help customers adapt their skincare program to their skin type and any issues.
As well as skincare from ranges such as Dr Dennis Gross, Drunk Elephant, Tatcha and Kate Somerville, Mecca will have cult products from Nars, Hourglass, Chantecaille, Stila, Urban Decay and Smashbox. A dedicated perfumeria will stock fragrance brands including Le Labo, Frederic Malle and 100 Bon.
Ten make-up stations will be open to help beauty-lovers create make-up looks, plus a Mecca Beauty Lab will have free make-up, skincare and hair classes every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
