Since launching in 2011, Share Design has become known as somewhat of an innovator in the online design sphere. Founder Shareen Joel has carefully constructed the website as a thoughtful and curated resource for DIY interior designers, bringing together a diverse range of well-designed products under the one digital umbrella. Her global approach is offset by a supportive attitude to local design. This is expressed most strongly through product curation series Share Design Exclusives, of which the latest instalment is a collaboration with A-ESQUE.

A-ESQUE designer Amanda Briskin-Rettig has been crafting accessories under her own label since 2012, having branched out after a past life as founder and creator of luxury handbag brand Mimco. Both sharing design career paths, it’s no surprise that Joel and Briskin-Rettig have known one another for years. “We are friends with a shared passion for design in all its forms. Given our history, it seemed natural that we should do something together,” Joel says.

The result is this special online shopping event that sees Share Design feature a curated collection of A-ESQUE products personally selected by Joel and available to purchase directly from the website for a limited time. Share Design has previously worked with renowned international design labels like Pia Wallen, By Lassen, Design House Stockholm and Baggu on similar product curations, with several local collaborations planned for the coming months.

This is the first time A-ESQUE’s products have been made available online. As for what she loves about A-ESQUE products, Joel has a lot to say. “There is a real focus on craftsmanship, quality and originality. It's evident not only in A-ESQUE's beautifully made products but the thoughtful interiors of its stores,” she says. “I know it won't be long until A-ESQUE is on the international luxury brand stage.” With backing from a booming online platform like Share Design, we’re sure there’s truth in Joel’s prediction.

The Share Design Exclusives A-ESQUE event runs until September 22 or until sold out. Stocks are limited.
