Alice McCall has moved her unique brand of girly folk and bohemian flare into a prized spot in Paddington’s premier fashion precinct – Glenmore Road’s, The Intersection.

Alice McCall’s has relocated her Sydney store (previously on South Downing Street in Darlinghurst) to the former Stellino site. Small and sparsely decorated (by Wonder from Melbourne), the focus remains very much on the clothes. Floor to ceiling white tiles complement the well-trodden parquetry flooring, while metallic linen drapes give off that hint of surprise McCall is renowned for.

Currently housing the Babooshka collection, one of the favourites at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia earlier this year, McCall’s love for colour and folky craftsmanship is beautifully displayed.

McCall began her career as a stylist working in London before launching her eponymous label in Australia in 2004. She still has strong ties to the UK and has designed diffusion ranges for General Pants, Target and Topshop.

Alice McCall completes The Intersection’s offering of the very best of Australian fashion, which now includes Bianca Spender, camilla and marc, Willow, Easton Pearson, Bassike and Scanlan & Theodore.
