Stretch out on a yoga mat in the morning, chill to neo-classical beats in the afternoon.

The inaugural ZoneOut International Music Festival – combining live, neo-classical tunes with discussions about lifestyle and wellness – will be a one-day affair featuring performances from international and local artists, morning yoga sessions and film screenings.

Neo-classical music fuses elements of classical, ambient, electronic and alternative genres. The line-up includes festival ambassador Luke Howard and pianist Sophie Hutchings (both from Australia), German masked musician Lambert, UK-based cellist Peter Gregson and Dutch indie harpist Remy van Kesteren.

Also performing are Australian electronic producers Anatole and Double Touch, Kenyan singer-songwriter JS Ondara, Irish folk singer Sibeal and Australian pianist Kristian Chong.

A portion of the festival space will be reserved for wellness programs, such as morning yoga (by Power Living) and panel discussions on music, wellness, the environment and more. There’ll also be a series of film screenings, including the National Geographic documentary Save This Rhino.

The Carriageworks Farmers Market will be open from 8am, providing food and drink options.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased for individual concerts, afternoon or evening ticket packages, or a full festival pass.

From 8:15am to 11:15pm.
