Winterlight Festival 2018
A white winter is coming to Parramatta's Prince Alfred Square with the annual Winterlight Festival.
Have a go on the city's biggest outdoor ice-skating rink and enjoy circus workshops, carnival rides, a 22-metre pop-up ferris wheel, a 30-metre slide made from ice, and a dedicated ice rink for kids with skate aids. There will be musicians, DJs, professional ice skaters and aerial dancers performing across the festival.
The Winter Village will be serving snacks such as woodfired pizzas, soups, curries, hot chocolates and poffertjes, small, fluffy Dutch pancakes made with yeast and buckwheat flour.
The skate rink opens at 3pm on the festival's opening night (July 6), 9am on weekends, and 11am on weekdays.
