Wine and Snack Party at P&V Paddington
P&V Paddington is bringing together some top wine and food folk for an all-day party in its courtyard wine bar. Richie Harkham, from sustainable Hunter Valley winemaker Harkham, will be launching his latest range of natural drops – including the Shibuya Meltdown, which features illustrations of himself and several other contributors on the day: wine importer Andrew Guard, chef Morgan McGlone (Belles Hot Chicken, Sunday) and P&V co-owner and wine writer Mike Bennie.
Harkham's wines will take over the by-the-glass list, while Guard will bring along some rarities and cult drops for good measure.
McGlone, meanwhile, is running the wine bar's kitchen for the day, with a menu of Japanese convenience store-inspired snacks: egg sandos, seaweed and spicy tuna onigiri, chicken karaage with "sensual" mayonnaise and Japanese corn dogs.
Entry is free, and you can book tables or chancing showing up sans-booking.
From midday to close.
