A one-night only shopping event, from a Karen Walker's carnival-themed candy bar to discounts on Réalisation Par.

The eighth Vogue Fashion Night Out is happening in Sydney this week, presented by Vogue Australia and American Express.

The event will launch at 5pm in Pitt Street Mall, offering shoppers exclusive discounts on popular CBD stores along with live performances, in-store activations and runway shows.

The CBD will be decked out in a slew of floral arrangements including an interactive, bespoke flower wall (the perfect selfie spot); a Möet & Chandon pop-up bar, and alcohol-infused popsicles.

Sydney-based musician Montaigne will perform a mix of songs she has curated specifically for the night, and Triple J Unearthed artist Nicole Millar will perform a live set at 7pm as part of the Bonds in-store activation.

Karen Walker has also curated a carnival-themed evening this Thursday with a candy bar, lucky dip and palm readings. Meet the designer herself and view her latest ready-to-wear collection as well as bags, jewellery and eyewear from 5pm.

American Express is offering its members $20 for every $50 spent on their cards, a deal that can be used up to three times at participating retailers on the night. Expecting to host 190,000 shoppers, David Jones will host its after-party in the Elizabeth and Market street stores.

There will be 20 per cent off all items at Réalisation Par, Happy Socks and In Bed linens and homewares.

Nobody Denim is also offering 30 per cent off full-price styles, plus an additional 30 per cent off already reduced styles.

Alice McCall, Dion Lee and Ginger and Smart in Pitt Street Mall are offering a 20 per cent discount store-wide.

The adidas Originals team has collaborated with Sydney-based artist Jess Cochrane (who will be in store on the night demonstrating a live recreation of her design) to create limited-edition tote bags. These will be gifted to the first 100 customers of footwear in-store. The tote is decorated with flowers to mimic this year's VFNO theme, along with broad paint brushstrokes in pink hues.
