Live Music at Carriageworks for Vivid Sydney 2026

Fri May 29, 2026 – Sun Jun 14, 2026

From hip-hop icon Lil’ Kim to late-night club sets from international DJs, the music line-up is stacked for Vivid Sydney 2026.

Australia’s biggest festival of light returns for 23 nights, filling the city with installations, live music, talks and one-off dining events. Music is one of Vivid Sydney’s four pillars, and Carriageworks joins the Opera House to host a slate of live performances across hip-hop, R’n’B and electronic genres.

Lil’ Kim leads the program at the Eveleigh precinct with a set built around her albums Hard Core and The Notorious K.I.M., while Grammy-winner Ella Mai returns following a sold-out global tour.

The rest of the line-up leans club-focused. Sydney DJ Alison Wonderland brings her Wonderland Warehouse Project to the space, Skin On Skin fuses house, techno and hard-hitting 808s, and Porter Robinson rounds out the electronic line-up.

Elsewhere, Texan psychedelic rock band The Black Angels will deliver a guitar-led set, and the Awesome Black Block Party returns as a free, all-ages event centred on First Nations music (registration is required).

Beyond Carriageworks, the wider festival continues across Sydney. The free Light Walk links installations from Barangaroo to Circular Quay, while the Opera House hosts Vivid Live, including a multi-night run from indie icon Mitski. Talks, food events and large-scale projections round out the program, most of it free to access.

All Carriageworks events are ticketed, including a few that are free and require registration – check the full program for details.
