Back in Sydney for the first time since 2015, Amy Poehler is taking centrestage at Sydney Opera House for a one-off Vivid Ideas event.
The Parks and Recreation and Saturday Night Live star voices the character Joy in Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2, and she’ll be talking about the movie – and her career so far – with Zan Rowe in a Q&A on May 27. The audience will also get to see 30 minutes of the film, which comes to cinemas mid-June.
“I can’t wait to share a little of Inside Out 2: a movie that lets Joy and Sadness, Anxiety and Envy – all try to work together in hilarious and touching ways,” said Poehler in a statement.
The event starts at 7pm, and there’ll be a red carpet from 6pm. Plus, a special Inside Out 2 projection will light up Customs House for 30 minutes following the talk.
