The French luxury jewellery and watchmaking Maison showcases its craftsmanship, innovation and history – with more than 100 creations on display at The Rocks.

Van Cleef & Arpels presents its first exhibition in Oceania: The Art of Movement, which unveils more than a century of the Maison’s intricate work.

From April 11 to May 8 at Watersedge at Campbell’s Stores in The Rocks, visitors can view treasures from the Van Cleef & Arpels Patrimonial Collection (spanning from the 1920s to the early 2000s), alongside archival sketches, documents, and gouache designs – some of which are being exhibited for the first time in history.

Since its founding in 1906, Van Cleef & Arpels has explored the concept of movement, transforming precious materials into dynamic, fluid creations. The Art of Movement highlights this legacy through four thematic sections: Human Odyssey, Nature Alive, Elegance and Abstract Movements. Expect exquisite diamond-studded ballerinas, lifelike floral motifs and avant-garde abstract forms, each displaying its own story of craftsmanship and imagination.

As part of a special program, the exhibition will feature weekend children’s workshops with paper engineer Benja Harney, as well as two conversations with L’ÉCOLE School of Jewelry Arts, diving into the history and secrets of high jewellery savoir-faire.

Entry is free, though bookings are recommended.
