A celebration of native ingredients throughout The Rocks this October.

From a roo toastie at the Doss House to woodfired crocodile tail at Pony Dining, the menu at Untamed Gourmet, which has taken over The Rocks for the month of October, is almost obnoxiously Australian. That's an observation, not a criticism – the month-long celebration of native ingredients only enhances the already standout offerings at venues across The Rocks.

Try smoked emu, cured wild boar and native thyme damper at rooftop bar Mrs Jones, crocodile san choy bow at the Australian or local Murray River cod at contemporary Middle-Eastern restaurant Tayim.

If you're just looking for drinks, the Doss House is running a masterclass with Archie Rose Distilling on October 22, and Endeavour Tap Rooms will pour a specially brewed native beer throughout the month.

Untamed Gourmet events will take place across The Rocks, with The Rocks Markets hosting edible bug demonstrations and pop-up stores with native foods and botanicals on weekends.
