The Cut at Mecca Coffee in Alexandria

Chefs from four top Sydney venues are going head-to-head at The Cut, a competition where attendees decide whose dish will reign supreme. The friendly and fun event – presented by Mecca Coffee and Ironclad – is all in support of Two Good Co , a social enterprise that supports women experiencing homelessness and domestic violence.

Kiln ’s Cathy Tran, Toby Stansfield of Lola’s Italian , Two Good Co ’s Jen Shaw and Jack Fitzhenry of The Wedge will each create a dish to impress, using Mecca’s coffee as an ingredient. Watch as the quartet flex their kitchen skills, with Swillhouse editor Myffy Rigby your host.

There’ll be snacks and a welcome drink on arrival, followed by five courses: pepperberry-seared prawns to start, caramelised coffee custard tart to finish. Drnks and Tippled will supply drinks on the night, and there’s a carafe of wine between two included in the ticket – plus a plump goodie bag from Mecca and Ironclad.
