Sydney Comedy Festival has unleashed its biggest line-up ever for 2026. It’ll run from April 13 until May 17 with more than 400 shows stretched across the entire city featuring our favourite local funny folk and a slice of top-tier international talent.
Highlights include Comedy Gala on the Green at Tumbalong Park, hosted by Guy Montgomery and featuring sets from Tiffany Haddish, Colin Mochrie, Rhys Nicholson, Matt Okine and more. The next day, things switch gear with the family-friendly Great Laugh in the Park, which will take place on April 19. It’s hosted by Giggle and Hoot’s Jimmy Rees and includes appearances from genuine international superstars Bluey and Bingo.
You don’t have to sit in a theatre to experience the festival. There are six crawls, with sets across venues in Manly, the CBD, Rozelle, and Oxford Street, and cruises which take comedy to the seas.
There is an Australian exclusives from US comic and actress Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip). Other big international names include Daniel Sloss, comedian and My Therapist Ghosted Me host Joanne McNally, and musical comedian David O’Doherty.
Local legends like Reuben Kaye, Celia Pacquola, Jenny Tian, Lizzy Hoo, The Umbilical Brothers and Rove McManus are also performing.
Tickets are available online now – and if you’re hunting for any last-minute birthday gifts, a voucher could be a fun idea too.
