Sunset Cinema At Bondi
There’s a different charm about watching a movie outdoors. It’s even better with the ocean breeze of Bondi Beach. Returning to the beachside suburb after three years, Sunset Cinema is popping up at Dolphin Court (inside the newly renovated Bondi Pavilion) for six weeks only.
Grab a bean bag (or book a sunset lounge) and settle in for new releases including Barbie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3, Past Lives, Saltburn, and A Haunting In Venice. Or feast on old-time classics like Finding Nemo, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of The Black Pearl, Dirty Dancing, and Jaws.
There’s also a host of Christmas movies to pump up the festive atmosphere, from Love Actually, and The Holiday to Die Hard and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
And those prefering documentaries, Ground Swell, a big wave surfing doco and short film series Women’s Adventure Film Tour are also in the mix.
As with any cinema experience, there’ll be fresh popcorn and choc-tops alongside more substantial food truck options and a fully licensed bar. You can even bring your own picnic to graze on throughout the evening.
Plus, South Australian winery Oxford Landing is hosting tasting sessions through the season, alongside other local pop-ups, too.
