If you’re looking to do some early holiday-season gift shopping (or just want to look around for something special for your home), shop local crafts and wares at the Smith Street Spring Market hosted by Sydney ceramicist and designer Milly Dent.
Browse through 15 stalls including two from Smith Street Studio’s resident artists, Milly Dent and Albatross Ceramic, selling ocean-inspired ceramic bowls, cups and vases, and playful fruit and veg designs respectively. There’ll also be sustainably made garments by Byron Bay-based designer Mimi Holvast, homewares by the Provider Store, prints by Genevieve McConnell and handmade jewellery made with upcycled materials by Sentiment Salon.
Other artists and makers on the lineup include Mingye Studio, Liz Lau Studio, Sophia Fleming, Alex Perestrelo, Bisqit, Raion Vintage, Pobbleboink, Gazal Ceramics, Sovereign Collection and Snack Stall Sydney.
