Skating At Festival Sydney
If you can’t afford to hit the ski slopes school holidays, chuck on a pair of skates instead at the Skating At Festival.
From June 29 to July 22, Cathedral Square will be home to an open-air ice-skating rink, as well as events and activities for all ages and skill levels. If you're hitting the ice, kids can grab onto a world-first “kanga” skate aid, for some extra support, and knee and elbow pads are available for hire.
By day you’ll also be able slide down a frozen slope in snow tube or jump on a blow-up Cloud Castle. And mulled wine and hot chocolates will be available from pop-up food and drink stalls. On Tuesday and Thursday nights the rink will become a '90s-themed disco – perfect for a date.
Mon to Wed 10am–9pm
Thu to Fri 10am–11pm
