Shaun Gladwell: Pacific Undertow
The Museum of Contemporary (MCA) art is collaborating with Australian artist Shaun Gladwell to present Pacific Undertow, the largest survey exhibition of his artistic career. The exhibition spans two decades of his practice, ranging from his early paintings to newly commissioned augmented and virtual-reality work that explores the intersection of technology and contemporary art.
Gladwell is known for his video works representing the body in motion, and this exhibition is no different. Pacific Undertow draws from a previous video piece that pulsed with elemental forces and energy.
The artist will be present for a number of tours and talks during the exhibition. Admission is free.
